Starting at Newton Regis we cross fields walking towards Chilcote and No Man’s Heath. Approx 2.5 hour walk £12 per person.

Starting at Newton Solney we cross fields walking either to Repton and back with a visit to the Bulls Head pub or across to Winshill and back with a visit to the Brickmakers Arms on our return into Newton Solney. Approx 1 hour walk £6 per person.

The Roaches – explore the heights of the Roaches, see the rock climbers as they practice and enjoy the views of Tittisworth reservoir and the unusual rock formations. On clear days Jodrell bank is visible. To end the walk we pay a visit to the tea rooms to refuel. Walk takes c3 hours, £12 per person.

Wetton – a walk through a typical White Peak landscape of pastures divided by dry stone walls, scattered farms, a beautiful river valley (the Manifold) and green hills on the skyline, a 6 mile walk, 3.5 hours £12 per person.

Linacre Wood – Passing through the village of Old Brampton, there are 3 reservoirs and plenty of woodland & stepping stones across a stream. A 5 mile walk, it will take c2.5 hrs £12 per person

Ticknall & Calke (bring your dog) – includes a stop at the Wheel in Ticknall. Views of Calke estate and Staunton Harold reservoir. Easy with 2 small inclines, terrain is tracks and fields. Approx 1.5 hours walk £6 per person.

Stannage Edge (stunning views and rock formations) – from the car park we head towards buck stone and High Neb, following the edge to the end and returning across Bamford Moor and Bole Hill. This is 7 miles, and takes c4hrs £12 per person. Refreshments will be via Hathersage after returning to the car.

Anchor Church Circular – a visit to the John Thompson followed by a walk along the river passing the caves to Foremarke church. Approx 2 hour walk £6 per person.

The Dragon’s Back – Crome Hill. A chance to climb one of the Peak District’s hills (360m above sea level) £12 per person. (near Earl Sterndale). A 5-7hr walk dependent on fitness levels.
